Subscribe to our RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds and have the news you want delivered directly to your desktop!
FMH offers free headlines for personal, non-commercial use via Really Simple Syndication (“RSS”). The feeds include links back to our site for the full article, and they update automatically.
What Do I Need?
A reader is required to subscribe to feeds. Just like you use a player to watch video or listen to music, a feed reader lets you subscribe to any feed you want and then automatically checks to see when they've been updated. From the feed reader you can view new headlines and pick and choose those articles you want to read.
There are many types of feed readers. Many of them are free and can run on your computer or through your browser. You can choose a reader that allows you to view the feeds locally from your computer, like one of the following:
Computer based: Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, Safari (MAC), FeedDemon, NewsGator for Microsoft Outlook, Attensa for Outlook, NetNewsWire (MAC)
You can also read them through your browser or add them to your homepage with one of these services:
Web Based: My Yahoo!, Google Personalized Homepage, My MSN, My AOL, Rojo, Bloglines, NewsGator Online
Subscribing to RSS Feeds
Once you have an RSS reader, you can get any feed you want, simply by following an RSS link on the bottom of a web page and clicking the subscribe button.
Please note that by accessing FMH RSS feeds, you agree to our Terms of Use.
Terms of Use
RSS (really simple syndication) service is a means by which FMH.org offers feeds of story headlines in XML format ("RSS Content") to visitors to FMH.org (the "FMH Site") who use RSS aggregators. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RSS service.
Use of RSS Feeds:
RSS is a free service offered by FMH for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by FMH, and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied by FMH.
Link to Content Pages:
The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the FMH Site. You may not display the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable FMH Site web page. You may not insert any intermediate page, splash page or other content between the RSS link and the applicable FMH Site web page.
Ownership/Attribution:
FMH retains all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all FMH logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. You must provide attribution to the appropriate FMH website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds. If you provide this attribution using a graphic, you must use the appropriate FMH website's logo.
Right to Discontinue Feeds:
FMH reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, your violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. FMH assumes no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.
