When you apply through our online system, you will receive an automatic email if everything went through properly. If you do not receive that email, please try again.
Although we would love to respond personally to everyone who applies, we receive hundreds of applications each day and cannot respond to each applicant. The automated email is your assurance that your application was received.
Review of applications.
Our recruiters review each application daily looking for skills, knowledge and experience that match position requirements. Those candidates that meet the position criteria will be forwarded to our appropriate hiring managers for consideration of an interview. The manager may choose to conduct an initial telephone pre-screen or request their HR representative to conduct one. Candidates who are selected for interviews are contacted to set a convenient day and time. Interviews can happen quickly or over a period of several weeks. Sometimes, however, vacation schedules of either the hiring manager or candidate may draw the process out. We are aware that this may be disconcerting and will make every effort to keep you informed throughout the process. After the scheduled interviews, the most qualified candidate will be selected for hire. The manager works with their assigned HR representative to complete the hiring process.
Reference checks.
Before an offer of employment is made, FMH will conduct reference checks. The reference checks are done through an online reference assessment tool. Once your application has been reviewed, you may receive an email requesting reference information. In order to provide the most efficient, streamlined process possible, it's important that you input your reference information (including e-mail addresses) in a timely fashion upon receiving the request.
The offer of employment.
Once a decision is made, the selected candidate will receive an offer letter. Other candidates are not notified until the offer is accepted.
Once we determine that we have filled our available positions, candidates who were not selected will be notified.
In some cases, a candidate who isn’t selected today might be just the person we need tomorrow! For that reason, we encourage you to continue to check our website for new postings.
