We are a not for profit, 289-bed hospital that offers the latest advances in medical treatment protocols, patient education, community outreach, disease prevention, and diagnostic capabilities. Our expertise encompasses family health, birthing services, NICU, dialysis, inpatient oncology, behavioral health, telemetry, inpatient med/surg, emergency care, cardiac care, and beyond. In addition, we are the first hospital in the area to offer the comfort of all private rooms to our patients. Our overall footprint encompasses 20 satellite facilities including physician practices, Immediate Care and a comprehensive Wellness Center.

A Hospital for the New Millennium

You will find we are leading edge in everything we do. For example, we completed a $103 million dollar renovation just a few years ago in 2007. Our hospital was completely reconfigured inside and out to expand capacity and embrace a 21st century infrastructure. Our Emergency Department was doubled in size. Operating room suites were expanded to perform the most advanced surgical procedures. A new Patient Tower was opened featuring all private patient rooms.

At the same time, as we continue to grow by adopting new technologies, launching new capabilities and dedicating facilities — we never lose sight of our purpose expressed by our founder, Emma Smith, in 1898: to provide “... a place that would care for the sick, comfort the injured, and provide peace of mind for the citizens we serve.”
