The FMH Auxiliary Prenatal Center is located on the first floor of Frederick Memorial Hospital, just inside of the BirthPlace entrance. The Center specializes in providing outpatient prenatal care through Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM). The objective is to provide comprehensive prenatal care through early access and continual care until delivery.

Services at the prenatal center include:

• Pregnancy education
• Monitoring for the health and the growth of the baby
• Screening for health problems (like diabetes)
• Referrals to support groups and services.
